Print plus Limited e-Access Terms of Use 

For institutions that have purchased a “Print plus Limited e-Access” subscription to the Annals of Internal Medicine, your institution’s use of and access to and its mobile applications is subject to the provisions of this Terms of Use.  Any use of our online services shall constitute acceptance of our Terms of Use. 


Authorized User: Any full-  or part-time employee, patron, student, staff member, or walk-in user of the Licensee whose access to the Licensed Property is authorized by the Licensee. 

Licensed Property:; The Annals of Internal Medicine issues published from 1993 through present date plus all forthcoming issues for as long as the subscription endures, including In the Clinic and ACP Journal Club sections as published therein. 

Secure Network: A network accessible only to Authorized Users whose identities are authenticated at the time of login and whose conduct is subject to review and regulation by the Licensee. 

Interlibrary Loan: Licensee may on occasion supply single copies of articles from the Licensed Property to a noncommercial library located in the same country as Licensee by post, facsimile or digital transmission to fulfill requests for InterLibrary Loan (“ILL”), provided such use is in accordance with applicable copyright law and Licensee’s ILL procedures. 

Authorized Access to the Licensed PropertyAccess to the Licensed Property is granted only to Authorized Users on the Licensee’s Secure Network for the duration of the Licensee’s subscription term.  

Annals of Internal Medicine Conditions of Use 

By accessing and using, institutional subscribers agree that such use shall constitute acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the Conditions of Use (, which are expressly incorporated herein by reference. Institutional subscribers agree to cooperate in preventing violations of the Conditions of Use by Authorized Users and, in addition to any other applicable remedies, subscribers access to may be limited or revoked in the event of a violation of the Conditions of Use by an Authorized User.     

Exception for Public Institutions 

The choice of law and forum designation set forth in the Conditions of Use for shall not apply if compliance would violate any law, regulation, or official governmental policy.
