One wonders, in advance of examination of the book, at the temerity of the American distributors of this very expensive English text on diseases of the thyroid. Have we not felt that we have kept a little ahead of our colleagues in Great Britain in this very field of investigation? Close scrutiny of the book itself explains the venture.
