This book is an excellent example of a coöperative effort on the part of competent men working in unison for the benefit of all of us. They supplement each others' knowledge and in that way are able to present the fundamental facts of diseases of the stomach and duodenum as well as their relationship to other diseases. The gastro-duodenal field is surveyed and brought up to date from all points of view, medical, surgical, physiological, pathological and roentgenological, and the result is an excellent book for internist, surgeon, general practitioner and student.
