This volume of 939 pages appeared two years ago but has not previously been reviewed in this journal. It has stood the test of these years in which it has been frequently used as a reference book. It is a careful scholarly type of work of unusual completeness, clearly written, practical, and illustrated by numerous case histories. To the internist and pediatrician it is a great source of help in a field which cannot be sharply separated from their own. This help will be particularly in the clinical descriptions of the disease entities and in the discussions of diagnosis. Treatment
