Since most neurology texts are either brief synopses or re-revisions of old books, the prospect of a new book that represents the life-long work of a recognized clinical authority is most attractive. It is unfortunate that Professor Biemond's book does not fulfill such expectations. It is not a new text but is the first English edition of a book that initially appeared in Dutch in 1946, was revised in 1961, and has been further revised for this translation. The In the Clinic® slide sets are owned and copyrighted by the American College of Physicians (ACP). All text, graphics, trademarks, and other intellectual property incorporated into the slide sets remain the sole and exclusive property of the ACP. The slide sets may be used only by the person who downloads or purchases them and only for the purpose of presenting them during not-for-profit educational activities.
