If the title of this book were "Functional Aids for Cerebral Palsy" it would be more descriptive of the contents. The book deals almost entirely with handicaps caused by cerebral palsy, mostly those produced by the dyskinetic form. The author states in her preface that there are excellent printed resources available for individuals with muscular weakness or joint impairments but none for patients with the unharnessed strength and random movements of dyskinetic cerebral palsy. Although much of the equipment described could be used in other types of neuromuscular disorders, it would be more accurate not to imply that the book
