Behçet's syndrome is an idiopathic multisystem disorder that is the object of increasing interest, due in part to the widespread recognition of its diverse manifestations (1). Diagnosis is based on recognition of the symptom complex (2). Cardiac manifestations include pericarditis (3), myocarditis (4), conduction system disturbances (5), acute myocardial infarction (6), vascular aneurysms and occlusions (rarely occurring in the coronary arteries) (1, 2, 7), and valvular disease (8, 9). We report a case of acute, severe, aortic insufficiency and sinus of Valsalva aneurysm in a patient with Behçet's syndrome, a previously unreported finding.
