This excerpt has been provided in the absence of an abstract.

The proceedings of a meeting of the Federation Internationale de Medecine Manuelle comprising a large number of individual papers surveying a wide range of topics in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of low back pain. They do not provide a systematic and coherent picture of the clinical problem and are useful mainly for a view of some generally unorthodox approaches. The price is high for a book of these dimensions.
