On this occasion of mutual congratulation for Hospital and University it is my pleasant task to present the medical significance of the amalgamation of school and clinic under one roof. These buildings typify the ideals and dreams that have stimulated the teachers of medicine of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in their work for many years. I appreciate to the full the honor which has been done in delegating this opportunity to me.
