The first edition of this book was the joint product of several men and was intended to cover particularly the problems of war service. It was produced during the World War. Since then conditions have changed until the care of the sick of a peace time army and the service to World War veterans have given to the radiologists of the Army precisely the same problems as confront their colleagues in civil life.
