This book is indeed a welcome addition to neurologic literature. The method of presentation of clinical syndromes so common in textbooks has been dispensed with. The author's plan has been to "correlate certain biological data which are considered of importance to the study of the human nervous system in health and in disease." This he has done in an able manner. The average student's poor understanding of the subject is due largely to the current method of isolated and uncorrelated presentation of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. The author has brought these basic sciences together in a logical connected fashion. Diseases
