The first chapter of this volume deals with anesthesia, preparation of patient, and instruments to be used. Following this are chapters on general pathology of the orbit, its surgical treatment, and plastic repair of deformities; surgery of the lacrymal apparatus; enucleation and allied operations; surgery of the ocular muscles, and its indications. There are two chapters on plastic surgery and five on surgical conditions of the lids.
