At this date (September 13, 1948) the Autumn schedule of courses is well launched.
Course No. 1, CARDIOLOGY, at the National Institute of Cardiology of Mexico, under Dr. Ignacio Chavez, F.A.C.P., Director, has been concluded. Twenty-three American physicians were registered, many were accompanied by members of their families, and arrangements were made for a combined postgraduate course and vacation. Dr. E. L. Bortz, F.A.C.P., Philadelphia, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Postgraduate Courses, was in attendance throughout the period. The physical accommodations were superior to those of any institution where similar courses have been given previously. The course was so
