The second edition of Holzmann's book on clinical electrocardiography is probably one of the best and most comprehensive texts on the subject. This masterpiece by an astute clinician is the product of extensive experience, observation and critical analysis. The graphic interpretation is always discussed in relationship to the clinical picture.
Although the book is written for the practicing physician and cardiologist, the historical and technical aspects are very adequately covered. The electro-physiological basis of the book is presented most vividly. For the discussion of the normal electrocardiogram, extremity as well as chest leads, the author adheres to the conventional concept.
