This book presents a thorough and systematic discussion of the anatomy and physiology of the autonomic nervous system. The discussion is amply documented with a bibliography of over 400 references and is profusely illustrated with numerous outline and schematic drawings which are of great aid to the reader. Where appropriate, the same drawing is reproduced as often as four times in various sections of the book; a practice which is appreciated by the reviewer.
