In April 1955, the President of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Dr. Charles G. MacDonald of Sydney, was kind enough to invite the President of the American College of Physicians to visit Australia and New Zealand during March, 1956, and attend the Annual Meeting of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians at Wellington, New Zealand, March 20 to 23, 1956. Our College had been represented by one of our former Regents, Dr. Noble Wiley Jones of Portland, Oregon, at the Inaugural Ceremonies of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Sydney in 1938, at which time he had been
