This edition has added vectorial concepts of electrocardiography and a section on arrhythmias. The first portion is concerned with basic principles of electrocardiography and represents a most concise and lucid presentation of the fundamentals of electrophysiology. Vector principles are employed in the gradual development and clarification of electrical phenomena as regards the heart's anatomy and mechanism. Lead systems with uses, advantages, and interrelationships are clearly discussed with the use of vector concepts.
