This monograph details the authors' experiences with transbronchial left heart catheterization from July, 1956, to November, 1960. The legends of the ninety-four figures and eight tables, as well as the graphs, make for interesting reading in themselves, and will enable investigators to review the data and to draw their own conclusions. The emphasis on graphic methods and the space devoted to the details of the techniques will be of special interest to workers in this field.
