For his selection of 16 articles on "problems of fundamental biological, physical, or clinical importance which have immediate application to clinical radiation therapy," Doctor Buschke has chosen contributors and topics most appropriate for his purpose. His book is addressed to the radiotherapist and his students, and reflects the present degree of development of radiation therapy.
The first chapters deal with the "Pathological Effects of Renal Irradiation," the "Significance of Radiosensitivity of the Kidney," and "Tolerance of Cartilage and Bone."
