Electrocardiographic Interpretation is not, in the stricter sense, a textbook of electrocardiography, as the title might suggest, but rather a collection of examples of electrocardiograms which might well be encountered by a practicing cardiologist. The volume includes 60 tracings, with interpretation by three experienced electrocardiographers. The format is interesting. The electrocardiogram is presented, followed by the interpretation of each discussant. Clinical and laboratory data are then given and the comments of the discussants after this information is available are recorded. In many cases there is appropriate editorial comment to add further clarification.
