This monograph of 120 pages is intended to familiarize physicians (and their technical assistants) with errors likely to occur in the use of the electrocardiograph. Some of these errors will be easily recognized; others can be overlooked and may even lead to wrong interpretations. Hence the authors have set themselves the task of discussing systematically the most likely sources of errors, and in this task they have succeeded well.
The booklet is divided into one section describing the conditions required for the correct electrocardiogram (9 pages); the main section discusses errors determined by the patient, by faulty leads, etc. (70
