Twenty-four papers that cover the clinical and genetic aspects of cystic fibrosis in children and adults. Four papers in English review pathogenesis, manifestations, and therarpy (which section lacks mention of the recent advances in management). A second paper in English interprets the sweat test. The third discusses mucoviscidosis in adults with further studies in chronic lung disease. The fourth considers peptic ulcer and its relation to this disorder. Because little new information is presented, the interested physician would do better to refer to Handbook on Cystic Fibrosis, published by the National Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation in New York, 1963.
