These two books dealing with methods for testing hemostatic mechanisms remind this reviewer of Alice in Wonderland; one is too tall and one too short. In spite of this, both books are valuable although not recommended for light reading.
Dr. Kazal has done a superb job of completing the second edition of Dr. Tocantins' fine book. Before his untimely death, Dr. Tocantins had started a complete revision and expansion of the previous edition. In essence, this book consists of a compilation of over 100 different tests and preparatory methods written by almost as many different authors. New sections deal with
