One-hundred per cent follow-up of patients comprising 24 years of experience offers a unique opportunity to investigate epidemiologic factors and the details of the natural history of the lymphomas. The majority of these patients are rural permanent residents and are classed in the standard histologic groups: Hodgkin's granuloma, Hodgkin's sarcoma, small cell lymphosarcoma, reticulum cell sarcoma, lymphoblastic lymphosarcoma; an additional 126 cases of chronic lymphoid leukemia and 24 cases of acute lymphoid leukemia diagnosed during this period were also investigated.
