This collection of infrared spectra of steroids (along with other physical properties such as molecular weight, melting points, and optical rotation) is probably the most complete presently available. Other material includes data on ultraviolet absorption, optical rotation, and nuclear magnetic resonances.
The volume includes reproductions of the infrared, ultraviolet, and nulclear magnetic resonance spectra. It is written in German but the discussion pages are divided into two columns, one of which is the English translation.
