New edition of a well-known and widely respected text based on embryology of man, the pig, and the chick. Clinical considerations virtually limited to brief mention of anomalies. In response to recently renewed interests in malformations such as those induced by drugs, viruses, X radiation, and chromosomal anomalies, Dr. Arey has appropriately expanded his material on teratology.
For the internist, of greatest value as a reference text on organogenesis.
