Imagine a Merck Manual devoted to diseases of the endocrine system, including a reasonably complete and current bibliography, enclosed in an attractive soft cover, and available for only $5.75; this might serve as a capsule description of Danowski's latest book. Each endocrinopathy (excluding diabetes mellitus and hypoglycemic conditions) is allotted one or more short chapters, in which pathologic findings, clinical manifestations, diagnostic techniques, and therapeutic approaches are discussed.
