As the field of congenital heart disease continues to increase in complexity, it is most refreshing to read a relatively small volume which encompasses most of what the nonspecialist physician needs to know about it. Dr. Robinson, a pediatric cardiologist, collaborated with two extremely knowledgeable radiologists, Drs. Abrams and Kaplan, to produce this highly readable atlas.
Section One consists of a brief review of the clinical evaluation of the patient with congenital heart disease and a review of the information obtainable from physical examination, laboratory data, X rays, electrocardiogram, phonocardiogram, and such special studies as angiography, cine-angiography, and cardiac catheterization.
