Ten years have elapsed between the publication of Multiple Sclerosis by McAlpine, Compston, and Lumsden and the present book by two of the same authors in collaboration with Acheson. Research on "demyelinating diseases" has increased during this decade, and the present book is a welcome successor. It has been logically divided into three parts by its three distinguished authors.
