This is a collection of 23 papers by 33 authors which were presented at a conference designed to bring together individuals and groups interested in the application of programed instruction to medical education.
These papers should be read and studied by all medical educators, since many of them probe deeply into the problems that face those responsible for teaching tomorrow's physicians. Here the teacher will find good summaries of the modern concepts of learning theory.
