The student of pathologic anatomy of congenital heart disease has good reason to be grateful to Jesse Edwards, who, over the last few decades, has carefully analyzed and described the gross morphology of most of the common and rare congenital cardiovascular entities. In this atlas, Edwards and his collaborators correlate gross anatomic features with radiologic cardiovascular studies. Coverage is comprehensive, and many of the photographs and diagrams are taken from the numerous published reports of Edwards and his coworkers.
