Studies on experimental nephritis produced by heterologous nephrotoxic sera have contributed much to the background and to the understanding of certain human renal diseases based on immunologic reactions. It is therefore very important to have an extensive review and evaluation of the entire literature of this field; this comprises the first part of the book, together with a detailed bibliography.
In the second part the author mixes the review with his own data in the field of experimental nepritis and nephrosis. There is, however, no clear differentiation between the nephrotic stage of glomerulonephritis and pure nephrosis. All animals in whom
