In this small book the chemical, physical, and biological properties of all the common and some of the uncommon viruses are presented in some detail. The author has pointed out in his Preface the primary defect of this volume: "While the student of Virology will be required to be familiar with every aspect of the subject other Science students will find somewhat more clinical detail than they require, as will the student of Medicine with scientific detail." If this book was intended for undergraduate college students, it is far too detailed for them to grasp, especially if it is studied
