Starting in 1958, this series, now in its fourth volume, has been presenting as good an indication as any of the immunopathological zeitgeist. The present volume, which embodies the proceedings of a symposium held at Monte Carlo in February 1965, is, like the preceding ones, remarkable for the caliber of the authors, the timeliness of the topics, and the accuracy of the edition. The elegance of the publication adds to the appeal of the book.
