Photographs of traumatic, infected, neoplastic, metabolic, congenital, and genetic lesions of the orbit, eyelids, conjunctiva, cornea, sclera, iris, and lens. Color figures, constituting over half of the illustrations, are of excellent quality. Short descriptive legends.
Not all lesions of special interest to internists are illustrated (such as Kayser-Fleischer ring and the calcific arc) but there are fine figures of Bitot's spot, leukemic infiltration of the conjunctiva, conjunctival microaneurysm in diabetes, conjunctival and corneal pigmentations
in Addison's disease, and the dislocated lens of Marian's syndrome. Very good collection of cataract types.
