During the past decade, dysproteinemia of the myeloma type has been reported in association with a variety of malignant tumors. Also, in recent years there has been an increasing number of disease entities reported in association with thymic neoplasms. It is somewhat surprising that, in spite of the close relationship between the plasma cell and the lymphocyte, the association of a myeloma-type dysproteinemia and a thymic neoplasm has not been previously reported. The purpose of this paper is to report such a case in which a myeloma-like dysproteinemia was associated with a thymoma. Association of these unusual clinical phenomena suggests
