For the past 6 years the authors have been conducting a highly successful postgraduate teaching program, sponsored by the University of Southern California School of Medicine (with assistance from National Institute of Mental Health grants), that has the purpose of instructing the nonpsychiatric physician in those principles and techniques of psychiatry that may be used in their day-to-day practice. This informative book is essentially a compilation of various presentations made in the program.
