This reviewer's class in anatomic dissection failed to get down to the foot. It is probable that many of us fail to get to the foot. It seems that Dr. Giannestras is one of a handful of physicians writing to amend this, and he does it well.
He begins the text with a clear and brief presentation of the development and the anatomy of the foot leading to discussion of the normal foot and its care. Illustrations are ample, of good quality, and appropriate. A logical sequence then goes to major emphasis upon early correction of congenital and developmental defects
