Twenty-five papers read at a symposium held in 1965. Thanks to careful selection of topics and speakers, these papers as a group form a fairly coherent account of the pathogenesis, epidemiology, pathology, immunology, natural history, pathophysiology, and therapy of acute glomerulonephritis. Several of the papers appearing in the section "Work in Progress" have no discernible tie to "acute glomerulonephritis," and others have only weak connections.
In relation to its price and the age of its material, this book has not much to offer to the physician who is not an academic nephrologist beyond what is available in standard textbooks on
