The first week in April 1968 has passed into history, and along with it the first joint meeting of the American College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians of London. Perhaps it is not totally inappropriate to recall this week under the title of a now defunct program of political satire—for if ever there was a week that was in the political sense, it was that week.
