Dr. Averill Liebow, as principal editor of this volume, has elaborated and expanded on a course which he organized in 1966 under the title "Pathologic Physiology and Anatomy of the Lung." There are 25 chapters including an epilogue by Dr. Liebow.
The monograph covers a wide spectrum of subjects, some of which include geographic pathology, genetics, carcinogenesis, physiology, and electron microscopy. Each chapter is a comprehensive and well-written review by the authors, all of whom are authorities in their fields.
