It is hard to identify the audience for which this book, a collection of renal angiograms loosely connected by brief case commentaries, is intended. A radiologist with experience won't need it, internists particularly interested in hypertension will find it superficial, and the price is too dear for medical students and house officers. The book then must be primarily meant for choleric critics seeking something to complain about. Selective renal angiography is by this time a procedure established beyond need for advocates, and many other centers can also present findings of their first 200 consecutive studies.
