A more appropriate title for this text might be "Radiographic Contrast Studies of the Spine and Spinal Cord" because all of the modalities of artificially changing the contrast of the structures around the spinal canal and the spinal cord are included. While the majority of the material concerns myelography, its techniques and interpretations, separate chapters devoted to discography and interosseous venography, as well as extensive description and illustration of arterial studies of the spine and spinal cord, increase the scope of the book.A reasonable summation of the extensive pertinent literature available on myelography is presented.
