Good books restricted in content to the subject of antibiotics are difficult to find even though this is an area of continued pharmacological progress and of urgent importance to the clinician. This volume represents a valued addition and fills a needed vacuum.
Like many British publications, it is well but simply written, organized logically, and frugally compact. Most areas pertaining to antimicrobials that are relevant to the practitioner are well discussed, although it has been necessary to limit space devoted to many important clinical problems.
Even though the authors have brought the contents up to date in this second edition
