Forty-one papers from a symposium held November 13-16, 1967, at Oak Ridge in three topical groups—protein-binding studies and radioassays, activation analysis, and cytologic and chromosomal labeling studies. Focus in the first group is on insulin, glucagon, thyroxine, thyrotrophin, growth hormone, sex steroids, iron-binding globulin, intrinsic factor, and folic acid. The opening paper is a general review of the method of radioimmunoassay (Yalow and Berson), and this alone is worth the modest price for this collection.
