The malignant lymphomas constitute a diverse group of related neoplasms, including Hodgkin's disease, lymphosarcoma, reticulum cell sarcoma, giant follicular lymphoma (Brill Symmer's disease), and mycosis fungoides. Burkitt's tumor and testicular lymphoma, most authorities now agree, belong to the grouping as separate entities. Any attempt to describe management of all of these diseases in a text of this brevity is apt to be superficial. What the monograph provides at best is an outlined approach rather than a detailed analysis. Emphasis throughout is properly placed upon radiation therapy.
