A well-known, widely used, concise, detailed handbook of drug and ancillary therapy. Includes important aspects of diagnosis related to proper treatment. Not all-inclusive but covers 99% of the clinical problems likely to be seen by the internist. However, emotional problems are represented only by a section on analgesics, narcotics, and psychoactive drugs; anxiety and depression do not appear in the index.
Highly recommended to practicing physicians as well as to house officers and students; a bargain.
