In January the ANNALS and other American journals announced the adoption of a uniform style for bibliographic references (1). This original group comprised 18 journals in clinical and investigative medicine. Since then, nine more journals have adopted this bibliographic style:
The American Journal of Gastroenterology
Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology
Industrial Medicine and Surgery
Journal of Laboratory and Clinical Medicine
Journal of the Louisiana State Medical Society
Journal of Trauma
Mayo Clinic Proceedings
Physical Therapy
Southern Medical Journal
Inquiries have come from other possible users, and we shall list their names if they join the present group.
