This translation of a Russian monograph consists of 84 pages of text and 25 pages of bibliography including 409 references. This bibliography reviews the Russian literature in detail, translating the title of each article into English, and also is fairly comprehensive in its review of the Western literature. There are no references, however, later than 1967, which I presume is the time the monograph was written. The text itself is primarily concerned with the technique of what the authors call "electroimpedenceplethysmography" in elucidating the physiological mechanisms of cerebral blood flow. This technique measures the electrical resistance to high-frequency alternating current
