Dr. Bickerstaff's book, now in its second edition, is just what its title says it is. It is a book about the methods and techniques of the neurological examination. In this it is gratifyingly orderly and remarkably complete.
It does not proport to be a textbook of neurology, and it is not.
It is difficult to know just who will be able to derive the most benefit from this remarkable book. The experienced neurological practitioner would have to read many pages to find a single forgotten fact or to learn a new and useful maneuver, although, in the reading, he
